Monarca Forestry, a father and daughter owned small business, provides reforestation services to Southern Oregon and beyond. Oscar Mena, the CEO/President and head Foreman/Mayordomo has over 25 years of experience working in reforestation. Oscar has experience fulfilling hundreds of forestry contracts from private landowners and government agencies all over Oregon, Washington, California, New Mexico, Idaho and Montana. He started his career as field technician, and moved his way up to Forman before founding Monarca Forestry Incorporated with his daughter Amaris Mena. Amaris grew up watching her father develop his abilities in the forestry world, after graduating from Southern Oregon University with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting, she joined her father in starting Monarca Forestry Inc. 

Monarca Forestry Incorporated’s owners have put their minds and experience together to recruit and train the best office and in-the-field staff. Amaris has quickly adapted her Business Admin abilities and efficiently manages her in-office staff to ensure all required paperwork is submitted quickly and accurately. Monarca Forestry has 3-4 crews operating at one time and has completed hundreds of forest health improvement projects such as: tree planting, piling, fuel reduction, thinning, herbicide applications, gopher baiting, prescribed burning, small tree removal, and more.
